FMB Solar
Founded in 1982, FMB was one of the very first manufacturers to introduce the European-style band saw machine as a replacement for circular saws. FMB’s Manual Pull Down Bandsaw is the original and today, it is the standard for this style machine. FMB now offer over 30 models with cutting capacities ranging from 8-5/8” to over 20 inches. Within their product offering, there are Manual, Gravity Feed, Semi-Automatic, and Fully Automatic Horizontal Bandsaws, Vertical Tilt-Frame Bandsaws. The Solar Vertical Tilt Bandsaw is a true semi-automatic machine with full hydraulic operation. As standard, the sawhead will tilt 60 degrees to the left AND right. The machine also comes standard with hydraulic tilt so the saw operator will set the angle position from the control panel using the digital angle display. The Solar’s large cast saw head moves on linear guides for added rigidity.
